- Always keep yourself busy. Keeping yourself busy after retirement is a great way to stay away from worries and lead a happy a life.
- Spent time on reading books and learning new things. After retirement you have lots of time and comparatively very less work to do. But if you can keep yourself busy with learning new things your mind will remain busy and this will help you to stay young mentally. You should not forget that the mental fitness is of equal importance to the physical fitness.
- Keep working physically even after retirement will help you to stay young. If you stop working after retirement you will feel like old but if you can work physically on small things like plantations, gardening etc, you will have a healthy life.
- Don’t stop dreaming, because dreams give you a hope to work and achieve. Keep yourself motivated enough so that you stay away from aging and leave like a young man or woman.
- Believe in yourself and make some long-term plans even after retirement. When you have something to achieve after your retirement that will motivate you to keep going. Think of retirement as an opportunity to spent time with your friend and family and enjoy your life, not to stop living.
- After retirement, generally you will have fewer connections with your friends or colleagues, but you should surprise them with a sudden visit. If you meet people, you will feel good and next time your old colleagues will also visit your place
- Plan some vacation twice or thrice annually, visit some nice places, trust me this will help you to stay young and fresh after retirement.
